    James Valdes takes a caring, non-judgmental approach when helping individuals and couples with relationship issues, commitment phobia, co-dependence, breakup or divorce-related issues, love addiction, sex addiction, porn addiction, relationship addiction, and managing depression, anxiety and stress. His passion lies in helping others help themselves in order to reduce suffering using mindfulness and other coping tools. He works with his clients to help them get joy back into their lives and to help them to create the lives they want to live.

    Before becoming a therapist, James worked in professions such as mechanical engineering, sales, real estate, movie production, and he even managed screenwriters and directors in Hollywood. He has been practicing and teaching mindfulness and meditation for 10 years to adults, children, and people in recovery. He has extensive experience working with clients in the medical field and other high-stress jobs. Due to his own personal love of playing sports he also enjoys working with athletes who are working to overcome slumps and anxieties.
